Service Account Manager - Healthcare Industry Experience Needed!

We seek a detail oriented professional for our Rockville, MD team. As the Service Account Manager you would service an assigned client base which includes indemnity carriers, third party administrators, Union Health and Welfare Funds. If you have a strong healthcare history, we encourage you to apply today.


 


Primary responsibilities include:



Managing up to 50 accounts


Serving third party carriers and self-funded groups


Working with payers on claims, network accounting and provider issues


Recruiting new physicians into network


Working with internal departments to facilitate clients’ requests


Visiting health fairs and trade shows


Meeting quarterly with clients


Some travel as needed



A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree is a plus. The candidate should have a strong healthcare industry background.  A solid background in managed care, insurance, sales or sold accounts is also required. A valid Life and Health is needed or obtained within 90 days.  A customer service history is also needed. Substantial account management experience is preferred. Excellent communications, organizational and problem solving skills are necessary. Proficiency in MS Office applications is needed.
