Sr. Account Executive-2 Opportunites

The Senior Account Executive is responsible for managing the overall relationship of targeted national and key Educational Partners (EPs). Primary responsibility is to cultivate strong relationships at multiple levels of the Educational Partner?s organizational structure and to identify and resolve key operational and strategic issues for the customer. Secondary responsibility is to identify and close additional revenue opportunities in the Partner organization, including new online programs, additional technology solutions, and expanded service offerings.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
? Manages national and major key accounts;
? Leads the sales efforts for existing EP?s and manages key client relationships;
? Works with current clients to grow online programs through course, section and program additions;
? Develops and implements national sales strategies for increasing sales and profits through national customers in conjunction with the Director of Account Management and the Senior VP of Account Management;
? Assists Educational Partners improve the effectiveness and efficiency of their on-line administration;
? Educates EP?s on eCollege Services and Products;
? Implements and oversees appropriate sales processes and procedures needed to augment and increase sales force effectiveness;
? Generates proposals ensures follow up and completion with clients;
? Sells products through presentations, product demonstrations, and one-on-one meetings;
? Executes administrative functions including verifying customer billing, manages grants, creates and maintains sales reports, performs special projects, oversees forecast for existing clients, creates weekly schedule and business plans;
? Works closely with Regional Directors and Account Executives to effectively communicate with existing EP?s;
? Generates sales reports and forecasts;
? Attends national and regional conferences to present and sell eCollege products and network.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelors Degree with five to ten (5-10) years of proven sales leadership experience in a variety of consultative sales preferably educational sales or related fields such as technology, publishing, corporate training, preferably selling IT-related products and services. Knowledge of Windows, the Internet and strong presentation skills (technology-based solutions) required. A consistent record of high performance in sales, preferably in both small and large accounts is required. Some sales management experience preferred; OR equivalent education and experience to successfully perform the essential duties of the job.

? Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Outlook, SalesLogix Contact Management, and/or Kana Communications Services desirable
? Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
? Proven record in managing projects on time and within budget
? Ability to work independently and in a team based environment
? Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently
? Detail oriented
? Strong written and verbal communication skills
This position is located within our Denver, Colorado location preferably or would consider home based in either Chicago, Illinois or Metro area of Washington, DC. This position will travel up to 75% of the time.
