Sr. Client Service Professional

J.P Morgan Property Exchange Inc.  Job Description

 

The Sr. Client Service Professional will establish, maintain, and support like kind exchange relationships and be the primary point of contact to our clients.  The Sr. Client Service Professional will acquire a strong understanding of I.R.C. Section 1031, which will be used in daily interaction and communication with account operations, tax managers, real estate professionals, and in-house and external attorneys to provide a superior level of service to our exchange clients.  The Sr. Client Service Professional will work closely with attorneys to meet customer needs by revising contracts, participating on conference calls and responding to customer requests.  The Sr. Client Service Professional will be responsible for maintaining account records and a meticulous review of clients’ exchange transactions is also required.  The Sr. Client Service Professional will also be expected to set up exchange accounts and monitor investment requests and money movements for exchange clients under the strict guidelines of exchange documents and JPEX procedures.

 

 



Required Skills
Undergraduate degree in Business preferred or equivalent professional experience;
3-5 yrs of fiduciary experience;
3-5 yrs of legal experience w/real estate preferable;
Ability to understand exchange documents;
Strong communication skills;
Proven ability to work in a team environment;
A knowledge of IRC Section 1031 Like Kind Exchanges a strong plus; 
Ability to prioritize work & handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously;
Detail oriented & organized;
Good interpersonal skills, good written, verbal & presentation skills;
Excellent typing skills;
Good computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office applications & willingness to learn new applications as position requires;
Ability to communicate clearly with different levels of staff, both orally and in writing.
