Strategic Sales Development Manager - Baldwin - Dallas or Chicago

JOB SPECIFICATIONS (KEY RESULTS EXPECTED FROM THIS POSITION IN THE FIRST 6-12 MONTHS)

 

? Develop the Target List and Strategy to go after high-end custom builders, residential architects and designers for each of the major markets in Northeast. Utilize all available resources to construct this target list, i.e., associations, showrooms, magazines, Kwikset, etc. 

? Qualify Target List for each major market ? 25 per market via phone calls, e-mails and mailers.

? Make field calls on qualified Builder, Architect, and Designer leads from Target List and develop mutually supporting relationships with our major accounts in the region. Schedule 2-3 days of B.A.D. focused calls with each account executive (40-50 calls/month).

? Insure regional participation with ASID, AIA and HBA in major markets.

? Overall dedicated driving force focusing on B.A.D. in each region

? Assess market conditions, competition and develop aligned business objectives.

? Other projects as deemed necessary.

(MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED AND KEY PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS)

 

? Bachelor of Science degree, 5-7 years experience in hardware industry preferred.

? Successful sales track record; ability to write hardware specifications

? Established Builder, Architects and Designer contacts

? Organizational/planning skills; ability to change and adapt to changing market conditions

? Good communication skills and self motivated

? Windows and PowerPoint software skills
