Koppers Inc., a Pittsburgh-based privately held global manufacturing company with $1.03 billion in sales in 2005, is seeking a Supply Chain Account Manager for its wood treating business in Pittsburgh.  The Supply Chain Account Manager reports to the Director, Marketing and Technology

 

Job Responsibilities:

? Develop and maintain favorable relationships with new and existing clients in order to increase revenues

? Monitor the process flow of product to consistently meet clients needs

? Sustain and renew client contracts

? Develop monthly forecast and quarterly sales projections within supply chain

? Foster teamwork within supply chain to meet and exceed customer expectations 

? This position requires 30% travel.

 

Qualifications:

? B.S. degree in Business, Marketing, or Logistics

? At least 3 years experience in sales and account management

? Account management in the utility business preferred

? Ability to work with others in a team environment and monitor the work of others.

? A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected

? Strong organizational, communication and leadership skills

? Team player

? Ability to set priorities, analyze problems, work independently and manage time effectively

? Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
