Automotive components manufacturer located on the south side of Columbus is experiencing RAPID GROWTH and currently looking for a dependable, hard working, Technical individual to fill a Technical Sales Engineer position. Further develop your skills and knowledge in our trade of machining and cold and warm forging processes. 

 

The Hirschvogel Automotive Group is a manufacturing specialist and development partner to the automotive industry and its systems supply in the areas of diesel injection systems, transmissions, power trains and chassis. Hirschvogel is considered one of the top manufacturing specialists in the field of metal forming and machining and we strive for continuous improvement. As of January 2006, we opened the first of a three phase expansion project. 

 

With this growth, we are in need of a qualified and motivated individual to work in our Sales department.

 

Technical Sales Engineer:

The purpose of this position is to establish, organize and maintain relationships and projects with internal and external customers (would require a liaison relationship between the customers and internal departments here at Hirschvogel Incorporated). Daily problem-solving efforts requiring communication between customer and internal departments to insure proper project and account management.  Must be able to see entire process from start to finish (the big picture) and manager all the processes required within a designated task or project while meeting strict guidelines. Domestic and international travel required (approx. 30-40%).

 

Eligible candidates must:

? be at least 18 years old,

?technical degree in an Engineering (Mechanical/Industrial), Technical and/or Business discipline preferred,

? experience in a Manufacturing/Technical/Business environment,

? have fluency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word etc.)

?experience in the Automotive Industry,

? have the right to work in the United States on a permanent basis,

? be able to pass a background check, pre-employment test and drug screen.
