Territory Account Manager, Arizona

Job Title: Territory Account Manager

 

Job Description:

 

The Territory Account Manager (TAM) identifies, classifies, targets, and solicits the highest potential customers of Rinchem?s supply chain and logistics solutions in an assigned geographic area encompassing various Rinchem Customer Service Centers (CSC) and their service areas.

Territories include multiple states and multiple CSCs.

 

The TAM works directly with the CSC Managers to create and execute territory specific business plans with specific responsibility to improve CSC profitability through new account acquisition.  The TAM will target and maintain high level relationships with clients and potential clients in order to further Rinchem?s business relationships.  Specifically, the TAM is responsible to generate his/her fair share of Rinchem?s sales growth goal.

 

?  The TAM will serve on and lead teams created for winning major proposals. He/she will interact with marketing personnel and other sales personnel responsible for corporate accounts.

 

?  Under the guidance of the Director of Sales and Marketing, and in cooperation with the CSC Managers of the assigned territory, plan for and execute sales strategy to continually improve the growth and profitability of the territory.

 

?  Participate and certify in Rinchem?s ongoing Sales Effectiveness Training, which teaches sales techniques, team leadership and individual team responsibilities.

 

?  Foster strong relationships with influential people (executives and decision makers) of current and potential Rinchem clients. Continually probe for the tangible and intangible needs of the organization and its individuals, and document findings clearly in statements of work and/or call reports.

 

?  Prioritize sales targets/projects and propose winning partnerships with assigned targeted accounts and in assigned territory.

 

?  Prepare oral/written presentations demonstrating how Rinchem products and/or services can fulfill the tangible and intangible needs of our target accounts.  Discover and address sales objections and/or unanswered questions.

 

?  Creatively, clearly, and boldly ask for orders in quantity and manner to meet the pre-established sales goals.

 

?  Create quarterly and annual revenue forecasts for territory.

 

?  Coordinate service requirements and evaluations of Rinchem service of accounts with appropriate Rinchem personnel to ensure meeting every expectation.

 

?  Follow established Standards of Procedure (SOP) and industry ?best practices.?

 

?  Meet Rinchem?s mission to be the most responsive provider of chemical management services any of our stakeholders ever experience.

 

?  Travel required (Up to 25%).

 

?  Other duties as assigned

 

 

Qualifications:

 

?  2 years experience in Sales, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, and/or Environmental Services preferred, but not required.

 

? Prefer experience selling chemicals or raw materials to the Pharmaceutical or Biotech industries.

 

?  21 years of age or older

 

?  Bachelor?s Degree or higher with solid academic performance

 

?  Travel ? up to 25% (vehicle or automobile allowance is provided)

 

?  Computer literate: MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word

 

?  Location:  Must live within or be within commuting distance or be willing to relocate to sales territory

 

?  Valid driver?s license-clean driving record

 

?  Competent communicator with developed writing skills and experience in proposal management

 

?  Ability to work under pressure and achieve specific sales targets

 

?  Must be able to successfully complete required training per 29 CFR 1910.120 (OSHA requirement) to perform job duties

 

?  Must be able to successfully pass employment physical and drug screen, and to retain medical certification

 

?  Must be able to successfully pass a background check
