AppLabs, an industry leader in global outsourced testing solutions and a Sequoia Capital portfolio company, is looking for highly motivated Territory Managers to lead expansion of sales in North America. AppLabs stands alone in the depth of its service offerings. Its goal is to provide unmatched quality, performance, security testing and development solutions to ISVs, and Enterprise IT customers.


Territory Location:

AppLabs is hiring candidates for most territories in the United States. These candidates will focus on selling testing and development services to the Fortune 1000.

Responsibilities Include:Generating new accounts and revenue streams for AppLabs while achieving annual sales quota. This includes identifying and securing new business with large, enterprise organizations not currently working with AppLabs. Strategic, executive-level selling of Global Quality Assurance testing, Development, and Consulting services. Territory management activities including forecasting, account planning and strategy. Providing appropriate documentation of client communications and interactions to AppLabs management.

Requirements:Five years minimum experience in field sales providing software or IT services.   Extensive track record of sales i.e. a ?rolodex? within the sales territory is expected. Must be able to demonstrate large account sales success; including executive-level relationships, account penetration, solution selling, and coordination of multi-site account management. Must have excellent communications skills ? both written and verbal. Must be capable and comfortable presenting to senior executives and/or large audiences. Familiarity with contact management tools including Salesforce.com. Must have the ability to travel within the region ? between 20% to 40% travel is required. Must have the ability to work in a team environment with a positive disposition. Consultative selling experience is also required, preferably in a team-based customer engagement process. Experience working independently from a home office may be required. In other cases, working from the Philadelphia office may be part of the job requirement.
