Qualities:

?  Positive attitude

?  Self starter, independent, road warrior (must have reliable automobile)

?  Must reside in Miami-Dade, South Broward or Monroe counties to be considered. No relocation available.

?  Willingness to work on a compensation program consisting of a salary + commission + incentives.

?  Passion for food, sales and/or food service industry

?  Food Service and /or outside sales experience a +

?  Highly organized with proficient time management skills

?  Willingness to prospect

?  Ability to fully service accounts

 

The Marketing Associate is expected to take a consultative approach to selling, i.e. not only meeting customer expectations with regard to fulfilling existing needs, but also in the proposal of new ideas to exceed customer expectations.  These activities include, but are not limited to:  Proposing new menu ideas, assisting in solving customer problems, researching and sharing industry and market information, following through on customer requests for information and sampling products. With these many responsibilities, a Marketing Associate will work varied hours.  Some holidays, evening and weekends are necessary to service and build/maintain your territory.  Evening work at home may also be necessary in order to be prepared for sales calls planned for the following day. 

 

Marketing Associates are also responsible for managing all aspects of their business territory including credit issues.
