As a Treasury Services sales officer, you will focus on generating new business from prospects and under-penetrated clients. You may also work jointly with a Relationship Manager on well-penetrated clients who present challenges due to size and/or complexity. Reports to the West Region Public Sector manager for state/local municipal business.



The core responsibilities of this position include: driving the development of new profitable business with a designated portfolio of prospects and clients; developing strategic sales plans and executing them in co-ordination with relationship managers, other Treasury Services colleagues, and the Investment Bank coverage team, as appropriate; managing client visitation and contact; understanding the clients' business environments, strategies, and industry to better determine their requirements, identify potential new business opportunities for JPMorgan Treasury Services and provide the appropriate solution(s); understanding the competitions' capabilities and gaps, and how to position JPMorgan Treasury Services against them; promoting sales through frequent client meetings and discussions covering new products, market and industry developments; managing proposal writing and the entire sales process; developing and enhancing in-depth client knowledge and sharing it with the JPMorgan client coverage team for both new business development and management of client risk; working closely with the appropriate Relationship Managers to drive efforts to expand existing business with current clients, providing feedback to product mangers; and generating cross-sell opportunities by maintaining strong working relationships with other JPMorgan lines of business.



Possesses five or more years of cash management, sales and relationship management experience
Bachelors Degree with Master preferred
Strong working relationships with clients and colleagues
Ability to generate ideas, identify and drive the development of new business

Demonstrates excellent/strong verbal and written communication skills
Possesses strong industry/market expertise
Demonstrates strong time management, organizational and planning skills

Has the ability to use various PC and internet-based systems to manage their business portfolio
Has the ability to obtain Series 7 and 63 licenses
