We are seeking an Account Representative/Account Manager to identify prospective area employers to increase membership in our HMO, Point-of-Service, and PPO products in the 1-24 small group market.  Selected individual will analyze and assess existing employer plan and implications relative to MVP offerings, organize effective re-enrollment campaigns, enroll new members based on position and territory, identify growth opportunities within existing small employer groups and develop strategies to maximize growth and minimize attrition in accordance with membership goals.  Duties also include: preparing accurate paperwork and maintaining and cleaning files regularly, resolving HBA and broker issues through problem solving and in coordination with other MVP departments and functioning as a member of the Marketing team by assisting with phone calls, walk-in inquiries, and mailings. Position promotes MVP?s Mission, Vision and Guiding Values with small group business and professional organizations, maintains patient information confidentiality and develops and maintains a working knowledge of MVP operations, contract benefits and enrollment requirements. 

 

Required qualifications:

? BA/BS in business, marketing or related field preferred or equivalent combination of    education and directly related experience;

? Prior sales and/or telemarketing experience required; HMO/health insurance a plus;

? Excellent verbal and written communications skills as well as an ethical sales     attitude is required;

? Ability to work independently with excellent organizational skills and must demonstrate workplace flexibility;

? Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications

? Neat, well groomed and professional appearance;

? Must have a reliable car and be willing to do any required travel.
