Recognized as a skilled technical presales consultant in helping to sell HP BladeSystems, you'll be changing the ways in which companies work, not just selling a product.  Engaged closely with HP's Partner base you'll focus on educating our Partners on our BladeSystem products and services and ensure their ability to market and support these solutions on their own.  This is a pre-sales focused position with success being defined by Partners outperforming sales quotas and delivering highly satisfied end user customers.

Responsibilities of the position include:

 

Participate in Partner account planning and strategy activity.

Understand and appropriately leverage BladeSystem sales and support resources within HP.

Act as BladeSystem technology presales lead and evangelist for assigned Partner territory or accounts.

Present ISS BladeSystem benefits, features and value differentiation to improve HP’s win rate with BladeSystem based solutions.

Articulate appropriately at all customers levels the BladeSystem roadmap for products features and benefits.

Work to increase awareness and interest in HP BladeSystem solutions in assigned Partner territory or accounts.

Maintain high level of technical knowledge on HP BladeSystem products, roadmaps, competition, pricing, market share, and key BladeSystem differentiation.

 

Working closely with the HP Partner Sales teams you'll also act as a liason between HP's engineering divisions and our Partner base ensuring that our Partners are kept fully apprised of our BladeSystem products and ensure that they are representing HP's products as best in class for their customers.



your profile



Bachelor's (undergraduate) degree or equivalent experience preferably in technical field.
Sound technical knowledge (x86, BladeSystems, Unix, Linux, Windows).
Excellent customer and communication and presentation skills.

Four - Eight years related field presales.

Strong sales & presales technical skills.
Customer facing skills.

Ability to position technology benefits of BladeSystems from a technical,business, TCO and ROI perspective to CxO, director and IT management levels.

Ability and willingness to motivate and support other consultants.
Resilience and resourcefulness when solving complex problems.
Ability to present proposals persuasively.

Ability to differentiate HP BladeSystem solutions from competition
Excellent team skills.

Ability to operate and make decisions in complex environment .

Ability to operate with minimal tactical direction.
