Network Systems and Solutions Inside Sales ? Reports to Executive Sales, NSS Teledata Sales

 

Qualifications:  2+ years sales or marketing experience coupled with strong organizational and communication skills.  Technical degree or relative experience in the contracting services field helpful.  Ability to participate and flourish as a contributing member of multiple account teams is a must.

 

 

 The primary thrust of the NSS Inside Sales position(s) is to facilitate growth in the Henkels & McCoy structured cabling systems installation business (teledata) through the following means:

 

?  pro-actively telemarketing to customers at national and regional levels

?  supporting the day-to-day activities of NSS Executive Sales personnel

?  contributing to the analysis of market trends, H&M delivery histories and profitability to identify ?strategic targets?, both vertical markets and firms within them 

?  updating market analysis and resultant ?strategic targets?

?  continually researching prospects through all means and media possible, including the internet, industry publications, networking and other avenues

?  assisting in promotional activities aimed at NSS customers and targets at all levels

?  monitoring and maintaining key record keeping resources such as Salestrack and the CRM database as applicable

?  monitoring and updating of reference database (web-based format) for work division-wide

?  maintaining consistent contact with the Corporate Sales and Marketing (CSM) staff to insure the effectiveness of lead sharing and follow-up between internal organizations

 

It is expected that the Inside Sales, in conjunction with the  Sales Executive, will participate as a team member to develop and implement a tactical plan to contact and mine target organizations for the purpose of finding national, regional and local project opportunities where H&M adds value. 

 

This work plan should include details of lead sources, key contact focus, and activity schedules.  The Inside Sales will be responsible for the development and maintenance of long-standing relationships with key decision-makers and decision influencers within these target organizations.  Detailed research of potential customer organizations will also be a major function of this position(s).
