The primary function of the New Business Development Associate will be to support new business production for various producers. Through setting meetings and participating in the sales process, the goal is to learn the sales role of the producer. Success can lead to learning the job of the producer, with promotion potential within the sales path.

Job Expectations:

1. Development of:
a. Leads
b. Appointments

Responsibilities Include:

1. Tele-marketing projects
a. Help develop prospect lists & market segments
b. Cold Calling to get business?s insurance expiration dates
c. Researching prospect details
d. Gather underwriting information
e. Scheduling appointments for producer with prospects
f. Maintain statistical results of prospects
g. Constantly communicate (verbally and via written report) with Producer regarding progress & status

2. Assist in mass marketing to prospects and clients
a. Input letter in computer
b. Generate mass mailing in computer
c. Prepare envelopes and letters to be mailed

3. Other clerical support projects directly related to new business
