Job Description: Health Care Storage Solution Consultant

 

Position Summary: 

 

HP is making significant investments in the Health Care market place.  HP’s Medical Archive Solution is the premier PACS Storage solution for all sizes of Health Care providers facing the ever increasing pressures of regulatory compliance and its impact on IT Storage. The Health Care Storage Architect is focused on supporting HP’s Medical Archive Solution (MAS) with defined PACS vendors and partners.  This role is primarily aligned to the application vendors, and secondarily to their customers.  Works closely with the HP Storage Sales team on closing new MAS business with Health Care providers when sold through, or in conjunction with, our defined PACS vendors and partners.  Also is focused on supporting the certification process for MAS, and other HP Storage Solutions as needed with the Health Care application providers.  Works closely with HP’s Health Care focused sales and marketing team, as well as with HP’s primary application solution, Bycast.

 

Reports to:  Americas Storage Presales Director

 





 Requirements:



? Possess deep knowledge of the Healthcare ISV and PACS vendor applications and their preferred channels to market in the Americas.

? Possess fundamental knowledge of the technical functions, components and archive requirements of each for PACS and Healthcare ISV application and understand the configuration of competing archive solutions commonly sold behind each PACS and ISV application.

Key Responsibilities

? Evangelize the key competitive differentiators that demonstrate the values of the HP Medical Archive Solution over competing archive solutions.

? Provide MAS technical expertise to the ISV and PACS vendors and clearly articulate the advantages MAS brings to the ISV application archival space.

? Provide MAS technical expertise to ISV and PACS vendors to facilitate certification and validation testing.

? Facilitate regular communications with the MAS business and product teams to maintain current knowledge of growing solution and to ensure that any suggested or required change to the HP MAS is thoroughly discussed with the appropriate HP teams in advance.

? Serve as the liaison between select ISVs and PACS vendors and the ILM presales team.
Product roadmaps presentations not covered by Account SA’s & Sales
Training of Sales, SA’s/Champions to properly position and qualify opportunities
Providing beta support & engineering feedback of critical needs; provide competitive & enhancement feedback to Sales & NSS
HP Services facilitation, integration, & transition
Review of configurations developed by Sales and Partners
Creation of detailed configuration for Direct opportunities; on a best-efforts basis for indirect-driven opportunities
