The preferred location in the territory is Van Nuys, CA with 50% travel;

This position is also available in another location in the territory:  El Segundo, CA  with up to 50% .

 

HP is the recognized global leader in providing printing and imaging solutions for business. The Solution Architect (SA) applies that same innovative thinking to new services that bring people and information closer together to optimize our customer’s environments. The Product Solution Architect is an expert within all IPG focused products, technology, and solutions.  They have both breadth and depth for all IPG specialty area.  They understand the detailed specifications and operation of the IPG hardware and software components.  They can architect technical solutions in their specialty area and have a detailed understanding of how the various products integrate with other HP and partner products as well as in multi-vendor environments.  They have hands-on experience with the technology and can confidently discuss the technical details with customers. 


And, integrated with the local sales team and liaising with marketing, manufacturing and output consulting specialists, you'll ensure that we deliver the most coherent, best in class solutions our customers could wish for.


 

- Serve as a pre-sales point of contact for the IPG Inside SRs and/or Outside SAs. - Creatively and successfully apply selling and technical skills to customer requirements. - Manage product and technology ownership on assigned projects through closure of sale. - Be viewed by Inside Sales and Field Pre-sales as a key contributor.  -Position solutions within a business context, rather than just a technology context.  -Establish a partner relationship with sales team, field pre-sales, channel partners, and 3rd parties.  -Take ownership of customer pre-sales technical issues. - Develop and foster key customer relationships.  -Look beyond current customer issue and be able to see the big picture.  -Understand customer’s business and IT environments.  -Help with RFPs.  -Help processing assessment data.  -Take ownership of both Pre-sales and Postsales escalations.

? Maintain Industry Certifications and continuously develop and expand technical knowledge of IPG Products and Solutions

? Recognized Expert by Sales Team, Division, and Customers

? Hand-on experience with all IPG Products

? Develop strong knowledge of competitor's products and solutions. Speak knowledgeably about their strengths and weaknesses. Be able to favorably position HP products against competitors

? Work with account team members, provide product and technology expertise and propose technical solutions to meet customer needs, resulting in increased customer satisfaction and sales for HP.

? Track market trends and competition.

? Internally and Externally promote IPG products and technology
