Consumer Development Specialist - Denver

This is an ideal fit for someone with a sales and marketing background, or the individual with great communication skills, who likes to network with people in business by offering an array of services to enhance their needs. Working under the guidance of the Business Development Manager, you will work out of your home and visit your key accounts for product demonstrations, trade-shows and other exciting events. In most cases, you will coordinate your visits with the customer based on a mutually agreeable date/time, giving you the flexibility to work around your schedule. Responsibilities of this position include:
- Build and develop relationships with key accounts and end-users through customer visits and follow-up calls.
- Introduce new products and demonstrate changes/enhancements that have added value to existing products.
- Represent ACCO Brands at trade-shows, "lunch and learns" and other customer events as directed by the regional Business Development Manager.
- Maintain a record of all customer contacts and other activities and track results.

Qualifications:
- Must be proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite of products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and calendar management through the use of Microsoft Outlook.
- HS diploma required; BA degree preferred.
- 2+ yrs of sales and/or other business related experiences.
- Excellent communication skills and professional presentation.
- Small storage area for product samples and literature. This is a home-based position.
- Must have reliable transportation. Mileage reimbursement will be paid.
- This is a part-time position with an average work-week of approximately 20 hours.
