Our Automation & Electronics Business Unit
Our Automation & Electronics Business Unit provides global industry research and market segment analysis, forecasts and trend analysis, and insights into emerging technologies and markets. We are seeking qualified candidates for these positions in the San Antonio, Texas office.
The Account Executive Career Opportunity
As an Account Executive with the Automation & Electronics Business Unit within Frost & Sullivan, you will develop a portfolio of client accounts within the Growth Partnership Services framework. You will identify, develop and present product and service solutions that best meet our clients? strategic business needs. Utilizing effective consultative sales and servicing strategies, you will be responsible for managing and cultivating new business opportunities for the development of long-term business partnerships by creating superior value for our clients. As a successful Account Executive, you will add to the growth of the Automation & Electronics Business Unit, and our company overall, by building value for our solutions and increasing revenues through renewable business relationships.
Key job responsibilities:
Effectively penetrate and expand an assigned group of industry accounts to create a strong client base for our Automation & Electronics Business Unit within the GPS frameworkLeverage business resources to forge new consultative client business relationships, while expanding existing client relationshipsApply critical thinking, creativity and effective business communication skills to identify key client needs and formulate appropriate Frost & Sullivan solutionsExercise effective consultative sales strategies and closing techniques to successfully achieve individual sales and performance goals monthly, quarterly, and annually
Key attributes for success:
Minimum of 2 years demonstrated professional experience/success in B2B environment, consultative sales, telephone or outside sales, or business development preferredBachelor?s Degree in Business or a related field preferredIndustry experience a plusEffective time management skills, with strong organization and prioritization abilitiesAbility to work effectively in a creative, team-oriented environment Outstanding written and oral communication skills ? able to effectively present ideas and information in a professional business environment and in all mediums Strong knowledge of PC software programs, e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, database management, and E-mail programs (Lotus Notes preferred)An enthusiastic, career-minded attitude with a desire to continually improve performance and take it to the next level
