Account Executive - Advertising Sales

Valpak of New Jersey is GROWING!

Due to our rapid growth, we are looking to fill an Account Executive position in Hackensack, NJ. Territories available in Bergen, Passaic, and Rockland markets. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for local sales, account management, developing promotions, and developing the advertisements that your clients need to reach that important Valpak audience.  You will also:
Build and maintain client relationships through prospecting and on-going service calls.
Develop a client base and meet sales revenue and profit goals.
Develop and implement effective marketing plans specifically targeted to assigned territory and client type.
Work with individual clients determining and fulfilling their advertising needs, including Internet and single piece direct mail advertising.

Requirements:
Prior sales experience (Media/advertising preferred)
Strong business development and prospecting experience
Creativity for developing that perfect ad for your clients
Strong negotiation and listening skills
Professional appearance, ethical behavior, and a desire to work in a professional, 1st class environment
Self-Motivated
Reliable transportation
Relocation not offered
Northern NJ applicants preferred
