Account Executive - Inside Sales

Advanced Data Exchange Account Executives are the key to our growth in the small to mid-sized business (SMB) marketplace. We are looking to expand the inside-sales team in our Dallas office, and we want the right person to join our energetic and fast paced company. We are positioned to grow substantially in the next 18 months, and we need the best people to help us reach our goal. If you have experience selling to SMB's, we want to hear from you.  Account Executives with experience in wireless, telephony, and office automation have been very successful at ADX.



We have an immediate opening for a proven, professional inside-sales rep to drive our continued growth and success. If you have a successful track record of consistently closing new business in the SMB market, ADX wants to talk to you. At ADX, we are committed to helping our sales team succeed. We have an organized and strategic sales effort that goes beyond "making the sale" to include marketing support, ongoing training, and relationship management.



ADX is revolutionizing the world of B2B commerce by making document exchange painless.  Our Internet-based solution quickly connects suppliers with their customers, allowing users to process business documents electronically including purchase orders, advance ship notices, invoices, and more.  We offer an inexpensive, outsourced alternative to EDI/XML, and are committed to the growing world of eCommerce and providing a positive, dynamic work environment. 



Responsibilities:

 

? Build relationships with new customers by cold calling target accounts, follow through on customer inquiries, and maximize customer referrals.

 

? Grow and deepen existing customer relationships by securing long-term contracts, additional trading partner matches, and increased transactions.

 

? Consistently close sales to attain and exceed goals.

 

? Efficiently manage your schedule and appointments.

 

? Provide timely and accurate sales and activity reporting.

 

 

 

Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:

 

? 2-5 years of sales experience, ideally in business products, software or services for SMB?s ($500k - $1B annual rev).

 

? Ability to work independently, while being open to direction, guidance.

 

? Capacity and willingness to aggressively prospect and cold call new customers.

 

? Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must, including the confidence to educate clients about the ADX Solution and its business benefits.

 

? A strong technical aptitude, with the ability to quickly learn the ADX product offering and a solid knowledge of enterprise software systems (ERP, Supply Chain, EAI, B2B & EDI) is preferred.

 

? Excellent relationship-building skills and the proven ability to close sales is a must.

 

? PC literacy required, including MS Office and Outlook. Experience with Salesforce.com or other sales contact management system is a plus.
