Responsibilities:

 

The successful candidate will sell FedEx transportation services (Express, Ground, and International) to existing and potential business customers within a geographically defined territory.  Some of the specific duties are to:

 

? Build rapport with customers using a consultative sales approach

? Expand customer base within an assigned geographic territory

? Make sound business decisions with customers through negotiated and established business agreements

? Integrate with customers through shipping automation solutions

? Manage customer interactions and information to ensure continuous and effective business relationships

? Meet revenue goal requirements

 

 

Requirements:

 

The preferred candidate will have 4 years of Commercial/Industrial Sales or Sales Management experience with the demonstrated ability to achieve above average performance against sales goals. A Bachelor?s Degree is preferred. Our Sales professionals must be self-motivated and possess strong time management skills. Strong verbal and negotiation skills are a must.  Some overnight travel may be required.
