We are seeking successful sales professionals who have a consistent record of overachievement.? Candidates will have experience selling to C-Level Executives and key decision makers in the hospital; target accounts will include Small Hospitals and Specialty Accounts.? Candidates will be responsible for selling Pyxis products from Cardinal Health which offer the latest advances in health care automation technology.? Candidates will be based in either:? Florida, Atlanta or Birmingham and will cover the Gulf States territory.? In this role you will:

*?Prospect for new business opportunities, including calling on existing customers, calling on new accounts, and networking to identify new sales opportunities for Pyxis.
?
*?Achieve, or overachieve, monthly capital quotas for both Committed Contracts and Revenue.? Accurately forecasting sales opportunities both monthly and quarterly to achieve the quota.
?
* Product Knowledge- has an excellent understanding of all of Pyxis products, including Medication and Supply Automation and Information Management.? Must know how these products will impact Nursing, Pharmacy, and Hospitals. Be able to articulate how it will impact the organization as a whole, and each department and individual.? Should have the ability to articulate workflow, corporate business issues, healthcare issues, and supply chain management.

*?This includes the ability to have a technical conversation with a customer to include, interfacing, technical specifications, and information flow.
?
*?Must be able to present and do product demonstration, both formally and informally, to groups including from Nursing up to the C-suite for a facility.? Present on the issues that are important and impact a facility.? Must be very comfortable talking about major business issues such as; Medicare & Medicaid reimbursement, state and federal regulations, JAHCO accreditation, and other critical factors in Health care, hospitals, long-term care facilities, etc.

*? Have a very strong ability to drive new sales deals, lead the sales process, and negotiate through contracts. This includes negotiating terms & conditions for capital contracts and lead conversations with legal, CFO's, and other key players.? Must be able to strategically negotiate with customers on key items in order to drive the sales cycle.? (This includes understanding of capital budget processes).

*?Manage on-going customers, including supporting and being a point of contact for them.? Assist customers on issues that deal with billing, customer service, support, and be a central contact for them to resolve issues.
?
*?Coordinate sales activities with various departments, including Contracts, Operations, Marketing and others.? The ability to work collectively with these departments to drive project and deals through.? This includes putting together conference calls, leading all customer related activity, and holding others accountable for deliverables that impact projects for the customer or prospect.

*?Performs other duties as assigned.?
*?College degree and a minimum of 4 years sales experience required.? (Sales experience should be defined as a set geographic territory, commission based/eligible, and had a quarterly revenue quota that had to be attained.)
?
?*??Must have the ability to travel up to 50% of the time.?
?
*?Should have exceptional communication and follow up skills, including the ability to communicate verbal, through writing and email.? The ability to follow up and follow through in a detailed and concise way is critical for this position. Must have experience in managing multiple projects and sales opportunities at one time is key for this position.

*?Must have very strong excel, word, and PowerPoint skills.?
?
*?Prefer a candidate to have experience with a strong sales training course, and be very knowledgeable about a formal sales and forecasting process.? Prefer to have sales experience in working with various types of facilities, including; hospitals, specialty hospitals, surgical centers, long term care facilities, institutional pharmacies, and others.

*?A strong preference for healthcare experience or capital equipment sales is preferred
