Building Material - Sales

Super Mix, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Sales Representative II based at its Kenosha, WI ready mix operations with responsibility for sales in the Kenosha, Racine and Burlington Area. This base salary plus commission based on performance position will report to the Sales Manager/GM.

 

Responsibilities:

?  Quote and sell concrete, priced in conjunction with the Sales Manager; experience selling to concrete contractors preferred.

?  Research specifications for job bids and quantities.

?  Concrete, promotional activities and trade associations involvement.

?  Assist Dispatch with utilization of equipment and allocation of capacity.

?  Develop and maintain territorial intelligence, identifying market size, customers and competitors.

?  Attain sales goals for territory.

?  Develop and update monthly forecast of sales demand within the territory based on customers? estimated requirements.

?  Assist accounts receivable in collection of monies.

?  Work to resolve customer issues, problems and concerns in a timely and effective manner.

?  Comply and support all company policies and objectives.

 

Skills/Knowledge/Experience Requirements:

?  High School Diploma; College degree preferred.

?  Two years, or more, sales experience in the construction or building materials industry, preferred.

?  Must have a Wisconsin driver?s license and maintain an excellent driving record

?  Personal computer proficiency, including the use of word processing, spreadsheets and e-mail.

?  Geographic local knowledge of the Southeast Wisconsin area.

?  Good planning and time management skills.

?  Outgoing, personable and persistent personality.

?  Excellent communication skills; good questioning/listening ability.

?  Strong interpersonal, negotiation and reasoning skills.

?  Sound product knowledge and technical knowledge.

?  General knowledge of the construction industry.

?  Strong mathematical ability.

?  Must demonstrate significant self-starting behavior.

?  Ability to identify customers? needs and offer appropriate solutions.

?  Willingness to devote time necessary to accomplish Super Mix, Inc. goals and objectives.
