Building Materials Outside Sales Rep

  COMPANY: This major building supplies wholesale company is located in 5 states and is expanding rapidly. They sell and deliver roofing materials and supplies, siding, windows, etc., to builders and building contractors in the residential and commercial construction industries. The company has a recently opened a new facility in Mobile, AL, and is still building its staff there.

 

DUTIES: This Outside Sales Representative will take over a territory covering the greater Mobile area and call on residential and commercial building contractors to sell them on using this company's roofing, siding, windows, etc., in the buildings that they contract. The contractors called on will include both existing clients and prospective clients.

 

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS: Need to have sales experience and 2+ years of experience in working with building materials and with building contractors.  The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience selling building materials to building contractors -- either inside sales or outside sales.
