An integral part of our Sales Operations team, the Business Systems Analyst 2 position owns the software systems that automate critical sales business processes for T-Mobile. These pros balance the technical ownership of software systems with a strong relationship with the business process owners and user groups that define them.

T-Mobile's Business Systems Analyst 2 is a highly visible position that drives system enhancements, bug fixes, and solutions with a sense of urgency that enables Sales to be more effective.

You'll use your analytical skills to work directly with business owners to understand their needs. Your software lifecycle experience will help you to effectively work with the IT Development team. Then you'll get to use your technical experience, analytical approach and knack for creative problem solving to propose solutions that will make a critical business impact. Finally, you'll leverage your communication skills to interact with a wide range of cross-functional team members — from software developer to Sales VP.

Your ability to identify critical path and successfully drive problems to resolution will set you apart from the crowd and your ability to appropriately target varied modes of communication for different audiences will ensure that your message is heard. It will be up to you to make the most of this opportunity!

RESPONSIBILITIES

Advocate on behalf of Sales and operate with a sense of urgency to gain the required support and action on the implementation of needed system functionality, bug fixes, and enhancements

Establish and maintain strong working relationships with both IT and Sales Business Owners to promote the health and stability of the current system and provide input into its future vision

Develop in-depth knowledge of the functionality and architecture of the systems they own and build a strong working knowledge of the larger business processes automated by those systems

Create and maintain Sales Operations system roadmaps, assessment documents, Business Requirements documents, overview presentations, business process mapping diagrams, use case diagrams, and other analytical deliverables

Collaborate with business owners and stakeholders on solutions to business challenges

QUALIFICATIONS

Advanced analysis expertise

Stellar written, verbal and visual communication skills

Aptitude for learning quickly

Experience with technical writing, documentation and communication, software and business process modeling

Familiarity with software systems architecture

Four-year computer science degree or equivalent industry experience

One to two years working in IT (with exposure to presentation, middle tier, and database technologies, as well as the full software development lifecycle)
