OPPORTUNITY:
This is an exciting and unique opportunity to shape our external presence and relationship efforts by developing and managing a strategic campaign for the CEO.  These efforts are parallel to the Marketing Communication teams? efforts but specifically target the branding of our CEO in the corporate ethics communities including corporate, public, academic, policy, etc. This role is a crucial element of a small team, integral to the company success. This team is the right hand of the CEO.  This position reports to the Director of Business Development who reports to the CEO.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Drive CEO?s calendar for business development opportunities, seminars, conferences, academics and associates and other thought leadership activities. 
? Represent LRN in contacting key customers, boards of directors and industry leaders on behalf of the Office of the CEO and be an interface with the sales team on strategic account penetration.
? Facilitate the flow of information and request that come to the attention to the Office of the CEO.
? Manage the activity of the office and history by tracking contacts, results and potential opportunities.
? Provide necessary research for externally facing opportunities to include: business development meetings, speeches, conferences etc.


QUALIFCATIONS and EXPERIENCE:

? Minimum of 4 years experience in law, management consulting, business development, investment banking, venture capital.
? Ability to lead and liaise between the company and external constituencies.
? Proven organizational and follow through practices. 
? A self managed and directed work style. The ability to handle severe deadline pressure.
? Excellent written, interpersonal and oral communication skills.
? High energy.

 

EDUCATION:

BA/BS Degree
Ideally a JD/MBA
