Principal Duties and Essential Job Functions:
Help us highlight our legacy of successful work, as past performance continues to be an increasingly important factor in the success of Government proposals. o Write past performance sections/volumes for proposals o Follow the documented and approved Federal Sector Past Performance Proposal process o Work with Capture Managers (CM) and Proposal Managers (PM) to evaluate RFP requirements, identify the past performance proposal requirements, develop past performance strategy, and create specifications for searches for past performance reference projects o Verify the quality of, and approvals for, potential references and maintain audit trail of of reference checks o Maintain close coordination with CM/PM and rest of proposal team as well as the manager of the Past Performance Office (PPO) and the Proposal Center Director o Generate/distribute materials to collect data for proposals and ensure that the data gathered is properly captured and delivered to PPO data repositories o As appropriate, assist in the design, planning, update and enhancement of PPO data repositories

Basic Qualifications:
o Federal procurement processes (RFPs, RFIs, etc.) and proposal-development activities o Basic information technology (IT) terminology and an understanding of how IT is applied to enable business solutions o Knowledge of CSC Federal Sector's business, organization, and clients preferred o Direct project experience in an IT or other technical environment preferred BA/BS or equivalent experience. Must have relevant professional experience, including experience in preparing technical documentation or writing proposals (government contracting environment preferred). o Excellent writing and analytical skills o Attention to detail and accuracy o Ability to synthesize disparate data from multiple sources into coherent proposal products o Ability to interface and work with all levels of personnel in a team environment o PC office-suite skills o Ability to work under strict deadlines o Ability to work extended hours as necessitated by proposal requirements o Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a very dynamic work environment o Ability to travel to, and work temporarily at, other greater-DC area CSC office facilities as may be necessitated by proposal requirements
