Business Development Associate

SolomonEdwardsGroup, LLC (SEG) is a leading provider of business consulting and accounting services.  Our Vienna, VA office has an immediate need for a Business Development Associate to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for you to use your previous sales experience, creativity, and knowledge of the DC market place to contribute to the growth of our office.

 

In this role you are responsible for the development of new business for the consulting practice. Using traditional and creative methods, establish marketing/sales campaigns to identify new leads, cultivate and nurture prospects, and maintain relationship with potential clients in order to drive growth.

 

? Manage the consultative sales process from lead generation through contract negotiation and close

? Present integrated service solutions to prospective clients and secure contracts with long-term upgrade/profitability potential

? Work with market management team in execution of marketing and PR initiatives such as conferences, seminars, direct mailings, and other creative strategies

? Develop sales strategy and implementation plans



 

Requirements:

 

? Bachelor?s Degree in related field preferred

? At least three years professional services sales experience (accounting and/or consulting are a BIG PLUS)

? Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills

? Ability to succeed in a management role as well as work in a team environment

? Experience/knowledge of the DC market place required
