Business Development Associate, Louisville KY

Responsibilities:   Staples Business Advantage is a division of Staples, Inc. focused on providing B2B office supplies, services, & solutions to medium-size & large accounts within given market segments. Staples Business Advantage is currently expanding in Louisville and is seeking high caliber, driven Sales Professionals to grow our business in deeper and greater dimensions in these markets. As a Business Development Associate, you will be responsible for generating/developing new accounts. Working within a defined sales territory, you will focus on selling value and innovative solutions to executives, senior management, and other decision-makers. Your work week will consist of making cold calls, scheduling appointments, presenting Staples Business Advantage programs, negotiating, and closing the sale.

 

Qualifications:

 

We need driven, smart sales executives who can THINK BIG to develop new and existing business: open new doors, establish, build accounts. You must be a self-starter with proven energy and motivation, willing to find, develop and close sales leads. You must be results oriented, self motivated, and driven by both financial and career opportunities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE NEEDED: College Degree. 1-3 YEARS+ OF SUCCESSFUL SALES EXPERIENCE. Knowledge of products, pricing, competition and sales objectives. Time management skills a must! Industry knowledge a plus. As a Staples associate, you can expect a competitive base salary monthly commissions plan, car allowance, comprehensive healthcare benefits, 401k, stock options, tuition reimbursement and ongoing training & development.
