Business Development Manager - Professional Services

Our company is seeking a top-performing Business Development manager to join our dynamic Business Development team.  The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving new business opportunities and expanding current accounts across all industry sectors in conjunction with our internal audit managers within the assigned geographic territory.  In addition, the Business Development Manager will be required to schedule sales calls and submit reports of sales activities.

The ideal candidate will have a successful track record for developing relationships at the "C" level and for working and winning large, complex accounts.

This position is characterized by a sustained record of sales achievement and complete knowledge of the company?s services.Responsibilities

The Business Development Manager role involves:Performing all business development activities that lead to profitable revenue and market share growth.Working with business development counterparts.Targeting potential clients and expanding current accounts.Developing account strategies and managing the pursuit and proposal process.Facilitating client meetings and serve as a value proposition expert.Preparing weekly reports and updates to management.Job Requirements:

To qualify for this career opportunity, candidates must have:A bachelor's degree.8+ years of business development experience in the professional services arena.A proven record for business development services and solutions at the "C" level of companies.Demonstrated ability to develop account strategies and drive processes.Strong relationship-management and teamwork skills.High energy and high-level business development leadership skills.Strong sales management knowledge and/or experience.Expertise in relationship building that increases account penetration and leads to increased revenue opportunities with existing clients.Developing and utilizing pre-existing network of clients or contacts.Success in working closely with consultants and other BDM?s to develop strategies and tactics that drive targeting programs and win business.Make live oral presentations that win new business.Attend industry conferences, training seminars, and symposium.
