Origen Financial, Inc. Origen Financial has an opening for a Business Development Manager responsible for generating loan volume in Texas and Oklahoma.  Emphasis is on profitable volume from qualified sources of business within the assigned territory including the solicitation and establishment of new retailer accounts, and the retention and increase of existing business.  Duties include working with sources (dealers and brokers) to increase the quantity and value of deals; actively seeking to increase account base by signing qualified sources; promoting Focus to potential sources through a laptop computer demonstration; effective development and growth of the Manufactured Housing Business portfolio within the geographical assigned area; developing, recommending, and implementing sales plans and objectives that will result in growth of the assigned territory; signing high-quality sources, and providing training on Origen?s products, and assisting in developing their knowledge of our services offered; assisting the Vice President, Business Development in developing the total plan as it pertains to the area assigned; and performing  duties in a manner that ensures quality service to all customers.  Regular travel is required through Texas and Oklahoma, and may include trips to Origen offices, trade shows, etc.

 

High School Diploma required, Bachelor's Degree preferred, plus 2-3 years of manufactured housing industry or significant experience in business-to-business sales, preferably in a financial services capacity. Candidates must live in the assigned territory.  Must have the ability to learn an in-depth knowledge of the plans, terms, and agreements offered, be self-motivated and perform successfully under minimal supervision, able to communicate professionally, both verbally and written, and understand concepts associated with lending including amortization schedules, interest, etc.
