Business Development Representative - Pipecoating

Bredero Shaw is one of the six business units of ShawCor Ltd. - a global energy services company specializing in products and services for the pipeline and pipe services market and the petrochemical and industrial market.

 

Bredero Shaw is the world's largest international applicator of pipeline coatings for the oil and gas industry, for both onshore and offshore pipelines. The company employs more than 3,500 people at offices and facilities located around the world. Continued growth in the American market has resulted in the requirement for a Business Development Representative ? Pipecoating, to service our onshore market.

 

In this role, you will:

-  create and maintain superior relationships with key clients

-  maintain and improve relationships with distributors, end-users, pipe mills and engineering design companies

-  research and develop new market and product opportunities

-  collect marketplace and project data and information

-  organize and coordinate commercial and technical presentations to potential and existing customers.

-  work as a key member of the company bidding team

 

With at least 5 years? sales experience, you may be an engineer with a Bachelor?s degree.  The successful candidate will possess a strong industrial sales background, with sound negotiating skills and market awareness.  You will have the ability to work effectively in a team environment, accurately forecast potential business opportunities, and analyze technical and commercial requirements of bid documentation. 

 

Ideally, you will have an overall knowledge and understanding of the pipeline industry and market, and an understanding of corrosion protection in pipelines.

 

This role requires fifty percent international travel.
