Business Information Manager

Swedish Match North America, Inc., a leading producer and marketer of tobacco products, is seeking a Business Information Manager for the West Sales Region. This position will reside in Sacramento, CA.

Major Responsibilities Include:Gather and analyze data from many different sources, e.g., product distribution, sales volume, market share, promotional spending, pricing, competitive activity, etc., for the purpose of identifying product/market opportunities.Recommend sales and/or trade marketing programs for the Region.Manage operating budgets, sales forecasts and other insightful management decision-making reports.Drive and manage Category Management initiatives with key customers in the region.Assist Account Team with key presentation development, and data analysis training. Requirements: Education: Bachelors Degree or equivalent of directly related work experience is required.Experience: Category Management experience as well as experience in developing and delivering sales presentations and customer business reviews to major customers at the senior management level is essential.Skill: Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite. Practical experience using syndicated data such as A.C. Nielsen/Nitro and Apollo for planogram purposes. Strong planning, organization, analytical, and communication skills are required.
