Business (Sales Planner) Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

? Using input and analysis from sales and customers to prepare forecasts by account, sku and month.  Monitor forecasts to plan and work with Sales to adjust to current market trends.

? Make purchases for replenishment merchandise based on forecasts and lead times.

? Prepare weekly reporting for the Sales staff on key drivers of the business, with recommendations on ?growing? the business.

? Insure proper in stock levels to meet customer demand, while maintaining the overall inventory objectives.

 

? Participate in meetings with Sales and customers as related to changes in forecast needs.

 



Skills Required:

Minimum of a bachelor?s degree, experience in a retail environment a plus

 

Excellent analytical and communications skills

 

Must be well organized, self motivated, focused on meeting deadlines and able to

multi-task and reprioritize

 

Ability to effectively communicate with key functional areas within the organization (Sales, Product Development, Finance, Purchasing and Logistics)

 

Proficient with Access and Excel

 

Travel is required
