Business Unit Manager

Serigraph Inc., a leading manufacturer of high-quality graphic arts products and one of the nation's top 100 printing companies, is offering an exceptional opportunity for a Business Unit Manager to join our team in West Bend, Wisconsin.  Serigraph is a major producer of screen and offset printed decorative trim for the worldwide automotive, applicance, computer, electronics, sports and outdoor products and point-of-purchase markets.  The ideal candidate would be responsible for maintaining, growing and the global expansion of respective market(s) in the automotive industry.  An aggressive seller with an OEM background is preferred.

 

Essential Job Functions/Job Related:  Responsible for maintaining and growing business within existing customers and accounts with major players in the automotive industry.Responsible for growing respective market(s) as assigned from a global perspective.Accountable for the pricing and profitability within area of responsibility.  Insures that all business is quoted and run on the most economical work centers throughout all of Serigraph regardless of plant/division boundaries.Manages the internal sales staff, which includes account management and customer service personnel.  Provides direction for the marketing specialist to achieve necessary levels of market intelligence.Responsible for managing all required marketing information for the respective markets as assigned.Responsible for communicating with and directing the activities of all associated independent sales reps, direct salesmen and field sales manager to best serve the customer and achieve sales growth objectives.Work closely with corporate sales management to establish appropriate sales commissions.Responsible for providing accurate sales forecast.Communicates any deficiencies with existing independent reps, rep agencies, direct sales staff to corporate sales and marketing for resolution.  Makes recommendations to corporate sales and marketing on new sales coverage needs for the target accounts within the assigned market(s).Other tasks as assigned by supervisor/management.

 



 

Preferred Education:  College degree in business with a major in marketing or sales management.Greenbelt training.Strategic pricing.Effective negotiation skills

 

Experience Preferred:Previous sales management experience.Knowledge of Serigraph products, processes and services.

 

Travel Expectations:  Whatever the job requires up to 30%
