Summary of Responsibilities

Lead the organization's efforts to build strategic partnerships and alliances with businesses, associations and non-profit organizations. Partner with local and regional businesses, building relationships to generate member and employee added-value benefits through collaborative efforts. Secondarily, generate SEG leads to increase use of the Credit Union?s products and services. Lead and help execute an internal and external strategy and plan to effectively communicate the TruWest Credit Union philosophy and sense of corporate responsibility, including community involvement, political representation and workplace programs.

 

Minimum Requirements

Seven to ten years experience in sales, marketing or public relations is required, along with a degree in marketing or related field. This position requires the ability to interact professionally with members, clients and all levels of personnel; strong organizational skills including client management, project management, problem resolution and marketing and public relations strategies; full understanding of client business and challenges within the industry; analytical and negotiating skills; ability to work independently to organize and schedule for optimal productivity; extensive knowledge of computer software programs; presentation skills. Experience working with the non-profit sector, experience with political representation and/or fundraising experience a plus.

 

Specific Requirements:

1.  A basic understanding of the credit union?s products and services and promotes them with the membership.

2.  Has a good working knowledge of the TruWest computer system, understands and can perform all teller transactions.  May include cashiering transactions and reconciliation.

3.  Basic knowledge of the ATM reconciliation process.

4.  Follows credit union policy and procedure as they relate to tellers.

5.  Document and maintain acceptable referral and sales levels.

6.  Good knowledge of negotiable instrument elements and the ability to balance a cash drawer to the penny.

7.  Source documents, checks and balance sheet are properly processed by following established procedures.

8.  Work as part of the team and cooperates with co-workers, coordinator and manager and demonstrates a willingness to assume additional responsibilities.

9.  Provide prompt and courteous service to members while exhibiting professionalism in dress, appearance and behavior.

10.  Handles member transactions and completes assignments in a timely manner by structuring and organizing work effectively.

11.  Communicates effectively with co-workers and members both orally and in written form and maintains a professional interface with other departments.

12.  Adheres to the TruWest Human Resource policies.

13.  Assists with other duties as needed.
