ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
The Commercial Sales Representative will be responsible for selling and representing Pella Products, Inc and the entire Pella Window & Door product line to large and medium sized commercial contractors. The sales process is comprised of prospecting for potential clients, pricing/estimating projects to new and existing customers, and serving as the primary customer service contact for Pella?s product line. The qualified candidate will be responsible making sales presentations to clients and potential clients in and around the territory.
REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE:
The successful candidate will be an energetic effective communicator who is able to excel in an independent sales environment. Additional requirements include:
? Bachelor?s degree
? Knowledge of the Construction industry (i.e. ability to read blueprints and do take-offs).
? Basic computer skills (i.e.: Word, Excel, Internet).
? Strong communication and presentation skills.
? 3-5 years of experience in a competitive, independent, and high volume sales atmosphere.
? Customer service oriented with exceptional interpersonal skills.
? Time Management/Organizational skills
? Experience with long (6-18 month) sales cycle is a plus
