Call Center Sales Director

Description: Seasoned Sales Director with strong history of call center account management and proven results needed to manage a sales team for a large call center client.

 

Duties Include:

 

Work in coordination with the Sales VP, Marketing and Operations personnel in developing and implementing sales programs, and service improvements that create growth within the account.

 

Identify and qualify potential business opportunities based on client needs, participate in daily/weekly meetings, interact and update management, clients and team members, and evaluate account performance regularly.

 

Stay informed of competitors? activities through information networks, develop and maintain effective relationships within the industry, and maintain current knowledge of client?s business and growth strategy.

 

Individual will prepare and submit weekly status reports, regular expense reports, and account profile activity records using standard tools. They will make daily, weekly and monthly sales telephone calls, web presentations, face-to-face sales calls and presentations.

 

Work with and develop strong relationships with Sales Executives,clients and operations management team, promote new sales opportunities and travel to meet prospective and current clients as needed under the direction of the Sales VP.

 

Achieve goals established in cooperation with the Sales VP to support division requirements.

 

Education and Typical Years of Experience: Bachelor?s Degree in Marketing or related field is preferred. Candidate must have 5 ? 10 years of highly successful field sales experience in design and/or product development and a proven ability to develop effective partnerships. Minimum of 5 years managing to quota and 80% or greater achieving quota. Ability to write compelling proposals is a must. Proof of earnings required.

 

 

 

 

Specific Requirements:

?Manage a team of sales executives who are responsible for selling our products and services to new companies.

?Develop annual sales plan and specific tactical activities to achieve sales quota.

?Self generate new opportunities from prospects and partners

?Penetrate identified target markets

?Forecast revenue, and consistently meet and exceed revenue and profitability objectives in multiple industry sectors.

?Work directly with product development team to write compelling proposals that respond to customer needs and win business.

?Demonstrate ability to apply appropriate strategies to close the sale.

?Work with internal account and project managers to track and follow-up on clients and projects.

Approximately 30% ? 40% travel in the US, occasional travel abroad.
