REQUIREMENTS:

 

Accredited Bachelor?s Degree required. Requires previous experience in college admissions or campus visits as a working professional level or student worker.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position serves as the first point of contact when prospective students and their parents contact University of Dallas to arrange campus visits and/or participation in other recruiting events. Good communication skills are needed, as well as participation in activities to understand the UD education and philosophy.

 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE,

SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

 

Computer knowledge (Recruitment Plus software, MS Outlook, Word, SCT Banner) and other printing software. Skilled in multitasking, interacting with prospective students and parents, as well as university administrators, faculty and staff members. Must be organized, accurate, detail oriented, timely in customer service, event planning skills, and project management. Must demonstrate self management skills, ability to communicate professionally and enthusiastically Strong listening, inquiring, clarifying, writing, and persuading skills. Prior training in marketing, sales, or advising preferred, but not required. availability to work a minimum of Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm.

 

COMPENSATION:

 

Salary will be based on experience and qualifications within an established pay range.  Benefits include eligibility to participate in medical, dental, life & disability insurance; paid vacation, holiday and sick leave; tuition waiver for employee and family; and cafeteria and retirement plan contributions as described in the employee handbook.
