Category Analyst/Target

Great opportunity to join the Pepsi Sales Team!

Work with Pepsi Target team to develop category plans that help attain Target and Pepsi annual objectives and goals while following the Insights 360 process.

Collaborate and support sell-in of customer/category plans.

Work closely supporting Category Manager and ?Account Managers in creating customized Target specific selling stories leveraging all available selling materials and enablers provided by HQ.

Conduct SKU optimization analyses and collaborate with POG resources on space management impact.

Conduct post-promotion analyses quantifying impact to brand and category.

Support Target specific scorecarding requests, including analysis & interpretation of data.

Share any account specific trends & insights with sales teams and bottlers.

Pull information from Profit Max to support creation of profit based selling stories.

Attend all Pepsi-Cola North America Catman Certification Classes.

Bachelor's degree; 2 -4 analyst experience; CPG industry preferred; Understanding of Syndicated Data via IRI and/or AC Nielsen; Understanding of Consumer Data via Panel, Spectra, etc.; Understanding of POG software, Prospace preferred; Strong organization and communication skills; Strong math and problem solving skills; Proficiency in Windows, specifically Excel and PowerPoint; Individual must highly motivated and possess the ability to work effectively across functions collaboratively as well as independently.
