Applies basic analysis techniques to a variety of syndicated and internal data to track distribution, merchandising and promotional opportunities. Develops working knowledge of the available databases and how to obtain and retrieve data as needed. Possesses solid knowledge of computers, syndicated data, space management, graphics, spreadsheets, databases and category management tools.Establish business initiatives with the assigned key brands or customers to improve sales and profits.
Works in conjunction with other personnel, marketing, consumer insights, information services, field sales and third party suppliers to effect category management implementation with assigned key brands and/or customers.
Analyzes industry trends and competitive actions to develop alternative promotional offerings to maintain and improve competitive position with key customers.
Analyzes industry trends and competitive actions to develop alternative strategies and tactics.
Integrate various information sources to develop persuasive business presentations to identify short-term and long-term opportunities.
Manages the KOMPASS process for schematic creation & deployment within the Kroger system, working across the Grocery group.A minimum BA/BS degree and 4 - 6 years of related experience.
Must have basic knowledge of business concepts.
Requires strong quantitative and analytical skills through use of computer support.
Must show aptitude to effectively interpret and use multiple information sources to support customer-specific tactical plans and options.
Knowledgeable in PC Skills.
