We are conducting assessments the week of August 14th at our downtown Boise call center location at 999 W Main, in the Wood River Room. Please bring a copy of your resume and plan on being with us for a minimum of 2 hours.  (Do not recommend parking at a meter)



Our walk-in hours will be Monday - Thursday 10am - 3pm

 WAGES:


· $8.50 per hour during training.


· $10.00 per hour upon successful completion of training plus applicable incentive compensation, based on performance.

JOB DUTIES:


As a Center Sales and Service Associate you will:

Respond to customers’ inquiries, requests and disputes concerning wireline and wireless services over the phone.
Probe and problem solve with customers to offer the right product solutions based on their needs.
Negotiate customers’ requests for installation, removal/changes of service, billing arrangements; and coordinate installation with all other departments.
Promote and sell Qwest products and services by consulting, gathering information, and evaluating customer needs
Use various computer systems/screens (20 or more) simultaneously to process service orders.
Ensure customer delight and win our customers’ continued business and loyalty.


QUALIFICATIONS:

Exhibit energy and passion to resolve customer issues while demonstrating the "Spirit of Service" for Qwest customers and co-workers.
Multi-tasking, problem solving, and strong verbal communications skills.
Ability to navigate through, and toggle between, multiple systems and/or applications in a Windows XP environment.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain good customer rapport
Minimum 6 months customer service and sales experience preferred, with a focus on problem solving and issue resolution.
Telephone service center experience is a plus.


WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Inbound customer service and sales center – fun, self managed and fast paced.
Structured environment where breaks and activities are scheduled.
95% of work time is spent sitting or standing in front of a computer console.
Must meet firm expectations for attendance and shift times.
Assigned varying shifts (may include overtime) based on the needs of the business.
Participate as an active member of a team, in a team environment.
Business casual attire.


SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB:

While you will be trained on the full slate of Qwest's products and services, it is expected that this position will be absorbed into the Boise Wireless Customer Care center where you will become a subject matter expert on Qwest Wireless Customer transactions.  Additional training will be given at that time.
