The purpose of this job is to increase the sale of MBCo. products to retailers within the assigned Market Area and to coordinate the sales, distribution, and program execution of chain accounts whose buying offices are located in the respective Market Area. Particular emphasis is to be placed on premium and above, higher profit brands. The person in this job will provide guidance and training to Market Area and distributor sales personnel servicing chain outlets and monitor their results.

The person in this job must have the proven knowledge and skill needed for selling across similar types of chain outlets and across channels to include understanding of features, advantages and benefits of MBCo. Space Management. Requires a complete understanding of retail accounts and distributor priorities; advanced knowledge of channels, class of trade designations and competitor activity. Knowledge of consumer segmentation and preferences, and an ability to understand and explain pricing dynamics. The successful candidate will have 3-5 years of consumer products selling and chain or category management experience, preferably in the beverage industry. The individual should possess a level of knowledge about industry and MBCo's category management process that would enable individual to 'sell' a retail account on MBCo's category management capabilities, manage an account using category management principles, and actively participate in the resulting category management activities. Strong knowledge of industry and MBCo category management process. Intermediate knowledge and expertise with category management tools (e.g., Category Manager, NITE). Working knowledge of Miller Sales Information (e.g., Power of Beer, C-Store Advantage, consumer framework). Strong knowledge of channel specific sales and operational processes (i.e., promotional strategies, category roles, operational structures, and profitability). Ability to participate in category plan development. Understand capabilities of Intercept, Spectra, and utilize in the selling process.
