Channel Manager - Retail Sales

Our client, a leader in the prepaid wireless industry, is seeking to enhance their successful Miami team. The Channel Manager of Retail Sales function is tied directly to the achievement of the company's key business objective as measured by sales of wireless handsets and airtime services through distributor & retail channels across the US. Sales will be primarily through the establishment of a distributor network which will deliver wireless handsets & airtime to the retail channel, predominately in the prepaid market.

 

Successful candidate will be self motivated & results driven. Position requires experience in US retail distribution, proven sales skills, & a hands on approach. Experience in the wireless telecom industry is mandatory.

 

Primary responsibilities:Identify opportunities for & establish pre-defined master distribution agreements throughout the US with distributors & large retailersDevelop & manage key relationships with large customers & distributorsEstablish & manage promotions, affinity programs & private label programs to maximize sales & profitsTrack sales opportunities, forecast actual sales in the retail channelCoordinate new product introduction & sales campaign materials Provide training & support to distributors & retailers as needed to maximize sales

 

Excellent verbal & written English, Spanish is a plus

Proficient in Word, Excel & PowerPoint

 

Extensive US domestic travel, some international travel
