SourceMedia, a leading b2b media/ publishing company with multiple magazines, newspapers & websites has an immediate opening for an experienced Circulation Sales Executive.
Job Description:
* Generate additional circulation revenue within select corporate accounts.
* Establish relationships on a firm-wide level.
* Assist in the renewal of current subscriptions for the designated accounts.
* Visit with all of corporate accounts to understand the needs of the subscribers & firms
* Design proposals to assist firms in achieving and exceeding their goals.
* Prepare and present site license proposals.
* Attend pertinent industry conferences.
* Work with marketing & sales support to institute group trials, and gather, organize & present usage data.
* Read & digest SM publications & competitor publications to speak intelligently and stay abreast of the markets and competitive climate.
*Prepare monthly reports: client updates, pub feedback, renewal progress, proposal/sales overview.
Requirements:
We seek a motivated, goal-oriented, career-minded, independent, and organized professional. Excellent people skills with good writing and speaking skills are required. An ability to accurately articulate features, benefits and a value proposition in presentations, both verbal and written is essential, as is the ability to cross-sell and multi-task. The ideal candidate is proactive, possessing the ability to execute on opportunities in a timely fashion. The ability to work effectively within a group environment and share ideas with peers are positive and preferred qualities. You should be capable of identifying opportunities and threats, as well as communicating such findings to upper management, while also providing potential solutions. Knowledgeable within the financial sector is a plus.
