Client Solutions Lead
Responsibilities
Align with appropriate enterprise sales team/areas to represent the TSG Solutions to all associated accounts.
Build in-depth knowledge of business/processes and application priorities.
Uses knowledge of technology, products, processes, industry expertise, and consultative sales skills to educate customers on value of storage infrastructure and management.
Leverages industry/technical background to create high level solutions which utilize existing assets while delivering long term value; develop preliminary project/services/support plan.
Identify and qualify new opportunities for EMC solutions-articulate accordingly.
Properly position, lead and/or advise sales campaigns for value added solutions and stand alone services.
Lead virtual team to deliver both core and incremental business as well as positively impact CSAT.
Ensures effective coordination and support between account teams and technical resources; brings in other EMC resources early to develop opportunities.
Builds incremental relationships throughout the account-become the trusted advisor.
Facilitates the knowledge transfer and training in the TSG model/portfolio throughout the territory.
May Perform other duties as required.
Experience and Education
Consultative selling skills and proven customer management
Reasonable understanding of customers' industries or ability to acquire knowledge quickly
Broad understanding of platforms and applications
Detailed knowledge of EMC and competitive storage products with strength in positioning software and services
In-depth IT and specifically storage experience
Experience selling, designing and implementing complex solutions for customers
Strong team management abilities
Ability to codify best practices and share methodologies across team members
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
10 years of technology and consultative selling experience
BA/BS degree required and MBA or MS preferred
