Prentice Hall, an innovative higher education publishing unit of Pearson Education, has an exceptional opening for a Sales Representative located in the Greater Miami/Ft. Lauderdale, Florida area.

Sales Representatives visit colleges and universities, interview faculty members and assist them with matching our textbook and technology products to their course requirements. Successful representatives supply Marketing and Acquisitions Departments with potential leads, and maintain positive relations with faculty members and college bookstore personnel.


The ideal candidate will have a 4 year degree with a grade point average of 3.0 or better and evidence of top achievement in both educational and professional background. This position requires 1-4 years of successful sales or other professional work experience, as well as an interest in selling to the academic community. The successful candidate must have the ability to develop and maintain long lasting relationships with key decision makers. A valid driver s license and good driving record are required.

The successful candidate can expect to earn $45-65K the first year, based on a starting salary of $35-45K plus an annual bonus that adds $10-20K per year at goal, but could be higher. In addition, you will receive a company car, all travel expenses, an excellent benefit package, and outstanding opportunities for advancement into sales management or marketing in one of the finest companies in the country.
