College Territory Sales Rep Trainee - Los Angeles, CA

 

Jostens has an excellent opportunity for a College Territory Sales Representative Trainee in the Los Angeles, CA area.  The ideal candidate will live in:Los Angeles, CA.Upon completion of the 3-6 month training program, he/she must be willing to relocate in the western region of the US.

The Territory Sales Representative Trainee is responsible for learning the job of the Territory Sales Representative with focus on learning the College Division's business and products.  The Trainee will be responsible for assigned account sales growth and account management.  The Trainee is also required to research and develop new customer relationships, identify areas of opportunity, implement programs and product sales across the campus community for optimal volume growth.  A day-to-day schedule planner is kept showing growth and penetration results for the assigned territory.  The Trainee is responsible for selling, scheduling, and conducting promotional events to support the sales goals and receives support from the internal customer facing team.

Bachelor's degree in Business or related field required.  3+ years in sales and/or marketing recommended.  Experience with account acquisitions and current account sales/service preferred.  Strong interpersonal skills and presentation skills required.  Ability to lead and direct the efforts of territory customer facing team members.  Strong computer competence with high proficiency in MS Office including; Word, Excel and Internet familiarity required.  Financial skills regarding budgeting, reporting, and forecasting required.  Significant regional travel required - approximately 70%.
