Job Description: Commercial Banker - Maryland Responsibilities include: Develop and implement a business development marketing strategy. Meet with customers and prospects to assess credit and non-credit financial needs. Gather, evaluate and analyze financial information on the borrower. Structure and propose value added financial solutions. Achieve loan, deposit, fee and other new business goals as assigned. Cross sell other Chevy Chase Bank products and services to customers. Maintain active role in relevant industry and business-related organizations.
Requirements include: Knowledge of credit and non-credit bank services and products. Record of recent successful new business development. Strong verbal and written communication skills. 3-5 years commercial lending experience, specifically within the Middle Market industry. College degree and completion of a formal bank credit training program. Knowledge of local business community a plus.
