Requirements/Responsibilities: FOX News Channel seeks a Commercial Operations Administrator. This position is in the Cable Ad Sales Department and involves heavy data entry, phone and E-Mail communication with internal departments as well as external traffic departments at advertising agencies. Successful candidate will have the ability to work well under pressure, be detail oriented, and have good interpersonal skills. Prior sales or traffic experience/internship and knowledge of the Cam Systems' Broadway System desired. Must be able to work overtime as required.
Duties include but are not limited to:
? Interpret agency traffic instructions and apply copy to commercial units.
? Contact advertising agency to obtain any missing instructions, tapes, graphics, etc.
? Sign in and library commercial materials for air.
? Work with Sales Account Executives and planners to insure sales contracts match agency instructions precisely.
? Edit one (occasionally two) broadcast logs per week, which includes smoothing and arranging of commercial inventory in a manner which will maximize revenue; Checking log for product conflicts, misscheduled spots, billboard scheduling, show numbers, promotion, ID?s, etc.
? Troubleshoot and find scheduling and copy errors that may occur.
Interpret and input sales order revisions into system when necessary
